Ryan Thompson is an american Illustrator and Comic Artist. Most well-known for the genre-bending Mythic Comic Epic, Fajita, which debuted through webcomic collective Darkstar-Studios in late 2009 as his first long-term project. A comic running every Monday, Wedenesday, and Friday. Hailing from an upbringing richly saturated in the styles of both eastern and western comics and cartooning, Ryan has been noted for his "solid", quirky, hybridist style of sequential art. Lately he has also become involved with video game production and related animation projects. He is a dog-person, eats a lot of oatmeal, and takes great joy in creative literature, fine arts, the not-so-fine-arts, as well as relatively obscure music, comics, and film. He is an enthusiast of post-modern storytelling, and experimentation in the narrative form. What a card. Aside from all of that, Ryan is currently in pre-production for his second long-term project "Frolic", in which he promises to push both his art and storytelling even further in terms of unorthodoxy. The new project has it's own Tumblr, and Twitter, and is slated to begin online serialization in 2012.
